Smoky Fettuccine
This is a fabulous dish that's great for doing on the fly for friends or family. It's simple and quick
to prepare and sure to get great reviews. Serve with fettuccine. Serves 4.
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 red onion, julienned
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 - 2/3 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup Dan T's Inferno Smoked
1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes, julienned
fettuccine
Roast garlic in preheated 400°F (toaster) oven for 15 - 20 minutes until soft. Mash with a fork. Sauté onions and peppers in oil in a frying pan for about 3 minutes, until tender-crisp. Remove veggies. Add whipping cream, basil and garlic to the pan. Heat on high till bubbling and sauce is reduced and thick. Mix in Dan T's Smoked, add sun dried tomatoes, return veggies and simmer 3 minutes until warm. Meanwhile bring water to boil and cook enough fettuccine for four, according to package directions. Toss fettuccine with sauce.
